Weekend Mountain Trip

Hello my Fashionistas! I know it’s been way too long since I’ve posted anything and I apologize for that; so much has been going on! Anyway, last weekend I took a trip to the Mountains here in North Carolina. I spent Friday and Saturday in Asheville and on Sunday I stopped by Chimney Rock on the way home and spent a couple of hours there. I’m going to share with you all what I wore, what I ate, and where I went. I hope you enjoy!

Friday

Before I left Charlotte I got my hair trimmed and blow dried at Modern Salon & Spa at Phillips Place. I absolutely love this salon! If you live in Charlotte or ever find yourself in the area and need some sort of beauty procedure done, massage, or haircut, check out this salon & spa. My stylist’s name is Siobahn; she’s a senior stylist and such a pleasant person! I finally found a stylist who can cut my curly hair correctly!

Had to take a selfie with my hair all done 🙂

Once I got to Asheville I headed to the Grove Park Inn for dinner. This is a famous and historic hotel in Asheville and I definitely wanted to check it out. Its building was completed in 1913 and it has since undergone a $25 million transformation. Famous persons such as John D. Rockefeller, Thomas Edison, and F. Scott Fitzgerald have stayed in this hotel.

I recently purchased this jumpsuit from Forever21. Not only is it stylish but very comfortable. Unfortunately it’s too long so I will have to continue wearing it with heels unless I decide to get it hemmed. Click HERE to check it out or buy it.

Saturday

Saturday I went to the Biltmore Estate. I had already been last year for the first time but definitely wanted to go back and see more. This time I added on the rooftop tour to my general admission. This is such a beautiful and mesmerizing place.

My romper is from a local boutique here in Charlotte called Julie’s and my sandals are from ALDO, click HERE to view or buy them.

Later on in the evening I went to dinner at Strada Italiano in downtown Asheville. The food was really good; it was the best place I ate at during my stay in Asheville!

Limoncello, Prosecco, and Blood Orange Liquor… very good!

Sunday

I left Asheville and stopped by Chimney Rock on the way home. Chimney Rock was only 40 minutes from where I was staying in Asheville. I had been to Chimney Rock already a few times when I was younger but I had no clue it was that close to Asheville.

I bought these linen cropped pants from Old Navy in the Asheville Mall, my sandals are the same ones listed above, and my shirt is from TjMaxx. With all of my outfits I was using my Michael Kors  Jet Set Large Travel Messenger bad in pale gold; it’s a great bag for walking around and sightseeing. It holds a good amount.
