Believe Beauty Review: All Products are $5 and Under!

Hi everyone! I recently discovered a new makeup line called “Believe Beauty” where all products are $5 and under; yes, ALL products! It’s sold exclusively at Dollar General and it’s flying off the shelves fast! I bought a few things because for $5, who wouldn’t? Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of the products I bought. Keep reading to see what I bought and my take on each product!

Products I’m wearing: Skin Finish Tinted Moisturizer in Natural Beige, Born to Blush in High Tea, Satin Crush Lipstick in Peach Mimosa.

1. Believe Beauty Skin Finish Foundation in Porcelain – $5.00

I really like this foundation! It’s not matte and it’s not dewy, just a normal, natural finish. I bought the shade porcelain which looked nice but it was a tad too light, I think the ivory would have suited my skin tone better but they were sold out of that shade. The coverage is medium and buildable to full coverage which I like. I do have oily skin and I noticed my skin getting oily after a couple hours, it’s not an oil free foundation. I will definitely have to wear a mattifying or oil controlling primer with this foundation. I think if you have dry to normal skin this would be perfect!

2. Believe Beauty Skin Finish Tinted Moisturizer in Natural Beige – $5.00

I was actually very surprised by how much I liked this tinted moisturizer. I usually don’t like tinted moisturizers because they either don’t give me the coverage I need or they’re way too oily for my skin. This one actually had good coverage that I would say is buildable up to medium coverage. It also felt very light and had a pleasant smell. I thought this shade was going to be too dark for me but once I blended it out it looked nice, I still think I would go one shade lighter though. I think I would also need to wear an oil controlling primer just because I have oily skin and it started to show after awhile.

3. Believe Beauty Velvet Matte Liquid Lip – Foxy $4.00

This matte liquid lipstick is a nice medium brown color. It can go with any makeup look and I believe it would look flattering on many skin tones. It goes on creamy and then dries to a matte consistency. It feels slightly drying but not bad.

4. Believe Beauty Born To Blush – High tea $4.75

This blush looked very flattering on my skin tone, I’m fair-light. It gives a subtle pop of color to the cheeks without being overpowering. It’s a light peachy-coral color.

5. Believe Beauty Satin Crush Lipstick – Peach Mimosa $4.00

This lipstick is a beautiful coral-reddish color. It feels very nice and moisturizing. I think it would look nice on many skin tones.

6. Believe Beauty Eyeshadow Palette – Into The Blue $5.00

This eyeshadow palette is really nice, the colors are very pigmented. Some of the colors didn’t end up looking the same once I put them on, some looked a little lighter or darker but still very nice colors; you’ll look like an ocean goddess.

7. Believe Beauty Gel Effect Nail Polish – Baby Porcelain $2.50

I haven’t tried this yet but I love the color! I’ll be posting about this one on my Instagram (@Fashionwithcatherine), be on the lookout!
