Hello everyone, I hope you guys had a wonderful labor day weekend! Not only was it nice being off on Monday but that means the school/work week is shorter 🙂 I bought these tribal pattern pants I’m wearing about a week ago from a boutique in Phillips Place here in Charlotte called K la. The best way to describe Phillips Place is an outdoor shopping center with restaurants that has a European look. I’ve been there numerous times to go to the movie theater and to Dean & DeLuca but I never really bothered looking at the stores. I had eaten at a restaurant and then decided to walk around and I passed this store and it caught my eye so I went inside. I found so many cute things along with these pants; let’s just say I need to lay back from shopping for a while! The good thing is that most of the items in the store are reasonably priced too. When I wore these pants I paired them with a black crop top. I know that most of the outfits I’ve posted show me wearing a crop top but what can I say, they seem to go with so many things especially if the bottom piece you’re wearing is high-waisted. It’s also still smoldering hot here in Charlotte; trust me I’m ready for autumn! I wore my white BCBG wedge sandals along with some silver accessories. I feel like silver accessories go better with the color scheme of this outfit as opposed to gold. Since I’m wearing a statement necklace I wanted to keep my earrings simple; usually when people wear huge dangling earrings and a big necklace it tends to clash. I also wore an ear cuff; I love the look of them and I’m glad that they’re pierce-free.  I’m wearing wedge sandals because these pants are EXTREMELY long! I will definitely be getting them hemmed so that I can wear them with flat sandals as well. Black wedges or sandals would also look good with this. Also,  if you’re not comfortable wearing a crop top you can always wear a black or lime green tank top or shirt. I do however recommend that you tuck the shirt or tank top in and try to wear a form-fitting shirt with this since the pants are already loose; you don’t want to look baggy. These pants are a light knit so you won’t get too hot in them. If you guys have any questions you can comment below or email me at fashionwithcatherine@yahoo.com

Stay tuned because I will also be posting my other outfits I bought from K la, have a great day 🙂
