Top 5 Affordable Beauty Favorites- Spring 2016

Hello everyone! I want to share with you all my current favorite beauty products that won’t break the bank. Whenever I go into a CVS or Rite Aid I always walk out with more items than I intended to purchase; something is always catching my eye and I’m a sucker for trying new products. I use these products almost always on a daily basis and this is based on my personal opinion, not sponsored. Just because a product is expensive doesn’t mean it’s always good and just because it’s affordable doesn’t mean it’s bad. It’s all about doing your research and trying out products for yourself. Hope you find this post helpful. 🙂

1. CoverGirl Ready Set Gorgeous Fresh Complexion Foundation

It’s hard for me to find a foundation I approve of whether it’s $5 or $50 but I definitely approve of this one! They have a good color range that I think can be ideal for any skin tone and I would say the coverage is medium. It goes on very nicely and smoothly and the consistency is pretty good; it’s not too liquidy or too thick. It isn’t heavily scented but it doesn’t have a harsh chemical smell either. I really love that this foundation is oil free since I tend to have oily skin and the staying power throughout the day is great! I don’t find myself needing to touch it up a lot because it doesn’t get shiny. I would say this foundation is a little matte but I would not call it a matte foundation. So far I’m loving this as well as the concealer!

2. CoverGirl Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer

This is a great under eye concealer! I would say it’s the cheaper version of the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. It’s a little less thick than the one by NARS but it does a good job of concealing and brightening the under eye area and it’s only $7.99!

3. Garnier Clean + Purifying Oil-Free Cleansing Towelettes

4. Garnier Whole Blends Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner “Honey Treasures”

I loveeee this shampoo and conditioner! Garnier just released their Whole Blends line of hair care that has natural ingredients and that’s paraben free. I bought the “Honey Treasures” shampoo and conditioner that’s designed to strengthen hair and heal damage. They smell so good and leave my hair very moisturized, clean, and refreshed. You can get the shampoo and conditioner for a little under $10!

5. Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Healing Lotion

I love this lotion because it’s very moisturizing and I love the smell. I also like that it’s non-greasy which I was surprised about considering it has Vaseline in it.
