Makeup Monday: The Makeup Sponge that’s better than the Beauty Blender

Hello makeup lovers! I’ve been using the Beauty Blender for years and it was my go-to sponge, no other sponge that I tried lived up to it. Recently I found a makeup sponge that’s just as good, if not better, and for less than half the price of the Beauty Blender! It’s the Miracle Complexion Sponge by Real Techniques. I was picking up some things I needed at Rite Aid and I came across this sponge in the…

Treehouse Vineyards & Kate Spade “Talk the Talk” Collection

Hello everyone! I want to share my visit to Treehouse Vineyards with my mom and my newest Kate Spade Collection purchase that I’m absolutely in LOVE with! It was our first time going to Treehouse Vineyards, located in Monroe, North Carolina. The wine was great and the atmosphere was peaceful. We didn’t do the wine tasting but we described to one of the workers there what kind of wine we liked and she recommended that we get a…

Vacation in the U.S. Virgin Islands: St. Thomas & St. John

Hello everyone! I recently graduated college and my last semester was very hectic. Sadly, I really needed to focus and take a little break from blogging. I hate that it’s been so long since I’ve posted but now I’m back at it and will be consistently posting! I’ve been meaning to blog about my trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands that I took in the spring; words can’t even describe how much I enjoyed this trip and how beautiful…

2016 Holiday Looks | Birthday | Trip to NYC

Hi everyone! I know it’s been forever since I’ve posted, the holidays kept me busy as well as final exams. Unfortunately the holidays are over and we’re all back at work or school now but I just wanted to share some of my outfits and photos from the holiday season. A lot has happened between the last time I posted like Thanksgiving, my birthday, my trip to NYC, Christmas, and New Years so this post is a broad overview…

1970s-inspired Fall Look

Hey everyone! I recently got this skirt when I went to New York and when I looked at it the first thing I thought of was the 70s! I based this outfit around this skirt and I decided to do a 70s inspired Fall look. I really love this sweater because of the braiding detail that goes down the arms; it gives the look a little something extra instead of it just being a typical sweater. Also in…

Best & Worst Dressed at the 2015 Met Gala

The Met Gala, also known as the Met Ball, was Monday May 4th. If you’re unfamiliar with the Met Gala, it is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in NYC. This year’s theme was Chinese fashion because their spring 2015 Costume Institute exhibit is called “China: Through the Looking Glass.”  There were some great looks that did a good job utilizing this year’s theme while some other looks were just…bad. My choices…

My Purchases: April

Hey everyone! I’ve decided to start doing monthly posts on my purchases. I’m always buying something whether it’s clothes, shoes, jewelry, or purses (even though I’m trying to reduce my spending) and I thought it would be a good idea to share! Maybe you guys can get some ideas or see things you might like to add with your wardrobe! I will also probably do some posts later on earing some of these. Click on underlined titles to view…
