Royal Wedding 2018: Prince Harry & Meghan Markle
Hello everyone! I’ve been so excited about this wedding and today was the day!! It was such a beautiful wedding filled with pure happiness and joy, everything was genuine. I’m not going to lie, I even teared up a little. It was nice to see something so positive and joyous in a world that is, especially here lately, chaotic and destructive. I wish these two nothing but happiness and a wonderful life together ♥

The Dress
Meghan wore a Givenchy dress designed by British designer Claire Waight Keller. Her Veil is 16 feet long and has flora from all 53 Commonwealth countries sewn onto it, Meghan expressed that she wanted to have these countries with her during her ceremony. I think Meghan wanted to keep her look elegant and timeless. I would have liked to have seen a little more intricacy and detail on her dress but it was still beautiful.
The Makeup & Tiara
Meghan kept her makeup very simple and sheer, allowing her natural freckles to show. She chose the Filigree tiara which belonged to Queen Mary and has been kept by Queen Elizabeth II since 1953. This tiara was made in 1932 and features diamonds set in platinum. The center is a detachable brooch made of 10 diamonds dating back to 1893!

Lemon sponge cake drizzled with elderflower syrup, topped with Amalfi lemon curd, and coated with Swiss meringue buttercream.
