Makeup Monday: The Makeup Sponge that’s better than the Beauty Blender
Hello makeup lovers! I’ve been using the Beauty Blender for years and it was my go-to sponge, no other sponge that I tried lived up to it. Recently I found a makeup sponge that’s just as good, if not better, and for less than half the price of the Beauty Blender! It’s the Miracle Complexion Sponge by Real Techniques. I was picking up some things I needed at Rite Aid and I came across this sponge in the makeup aisle for only $5.99 so I figured, why not give it a try? I thought it was going to be another disappointment but I was pleasantly surprised! It’s slightly bigger than the Beauty Blender and is the classic teardrop shape but has a flat edged bottom, something that the Beauty Blender doesn’t have and that I really like. It’s really soft and has the same effect as the Beauty Blender; some makeup sponges I’ve tried have been too hard and I couldn’t really pat or bounce on my foundation like I wanted. With the Beauty Blender being $20, I think I’ll be sticking with the Real Techniques sponge.
