Current Beauty Favorites: January 2017

Hello! I want to share with you all my current beauty favorites that I’ve used for a couple of months now. These are products that I use and truly like, no sponsored products. Click on the titles of the products to view or shop.

1. Peter Thomas Roth Max Complexion Correction Pads

I’ve been using these for a couple of months now and I have to say that they’ve made a huge difference with the texture of my skin! My skin appears more smooth and tight and my pore size also looks reduced. They also help with breakouts!

2. Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer in “Peony”

I received a set of 3 of these for Christmas including this color. They’re moisturizing and the color is rich with a metallic finish. They also have a minty smell and leave a tingle!

3. NARS All Day Luminous Foundation

I bought this foundation a couple months ago since the Chanel foundation I normally use got discontinued and I’m actually pretty pleased with this. It’s very light and has more of a liquid than creamy consistency but the coverage is pretty impressive. I wear the shade “Mont Blanc”.

4. Dr. Brandt Skincare Laser FX Perfect Serum

I’ve been using this for awhile now, probably 3 months, and I love the way it makes my skin feel as well as how it makes my foundation look when I put this on under it. It’s a serum, not a lotion, which is a plus because it doesn’t clog my pores or make me break out. I only wear this during the day and it has a primer effect; it just really smooths out my skin and makes it look flawless. It also has anti-aging benefits and in my opinion it’s never too early to start using anti-aging products; it’s all about prevention!

5. Smashbox Cover Shot Eye Palette in “Ablaze”

I’ve wanted an eyeshadow palette that has more warm colors in it and when I saw this I was like yes this is the one! The colors are pigmented and show up beautifully. It’s also a very thin and small palette so it’s great to take with you and for traveling.
